2011 lighting package
I read on here than many 2011 dealer builds excluded the lighting package because in 2011 MB shook up the options packs and it got overlooked. Given that the first CPO 2011 I found at a dealer that I'm interested in doesn't have lighting package, I am believing what I read!
Few questions
1. What else did lighting package include besides HID bulbs (and smoked housing)? We're taillight LED's also part of that pack?
2. I assume non lighting pack cars have regular cruddy amber halogen headlights (amazing, on a $70k car). Pretty noticeable difference between the HID and standard non lighting pack halogens, I imagine?
3. Is it feasible (and reasonable) to buy the HID units and swap them in, or are they either $$$ or not even possible due to wiring harness differences?
Thanks!

2008 - 2010 had the bi-xenon's in with the Premium Package. 2011 moved it to the new lighting package. Dealers thought they could just order the same packages, not realizing the lights were yanked out of there, and required ticking a new box.

Thanks. Did a bit of research and found the typical $100 kits that work to have ballast xenons installed pretty easily. I think it still makes a difference with the lighting kit cars though, not only because they swivel with turning, but also I think the projector/glass is different than for halogens.
