BenzWorks...a Class Act!
Just wanted to post my recent experience with BenzWorks in Huntington Beach.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed a noise coming from my engine bay and traced it to my passenger side header rubbing on the frame heat shield. Not feeling up to driving all the way down to ACGSD where the headers were originally installed, I called up BenzWorks to see if they could help me out. I spoke with Nick and he said to bring the car by the shop the next day, on Saturday.
The following day I arrive with my wife and 3-year old in tote, and am personally greeted by Nick and Serge as we pull up and enter the showroom. They are both very nice and accomodating and make my family feel comfortable while they wait. Serge immediately brings my car around into the shop and puts it on the lift to take a look. He identifies the point of contact and begins working to give the header a bit more clearance by bending back the heat shield. At my request, he also took the time to retighten all the header bolts, as it had not been done since the original install. Meanwhile, Nick leads me around the shop (a really nice facility I must add) showing off some of their latest projects, including the C63 longtube headers and lightweight rotors, both of which looked like top quality parts.
About 45 minutes later Serge brings my car down and says that although there wasn't enough room to completely eliminate the rubbing, it should be vastly reduced, and it certainly was on the way home. Also, he found several loose header bolts and assured me they were now secure. After loading up the family I pulled out my wallet to pay the damage, and to my surprise Serge and Nick say not to worry about it since they considered the work to be simply diagnostic. I was speechless.
To Serge and Nick, thanks again for taking care of me on the short notice and in such professional fashion. Vendors like you are far and few in between, and the great experience I had at your shop was refreshing to say the least.
To anyone looking for a quality MB shop in the Huntington Beach area, I highly recommend BenzWorks!

Serge has been taking care of all my Benzes since he left the dealership...
He has done work on my 997TT, old M3, old E55, old CL65, old M6.
He most recently lowered my E63 and CLS63 and will even be installing my V1 (hardwired).
Great business/Educated in our cars/Solid Customer Service/More than favorable pricing...
