Question about buying from non Merc dealer
Hello folks,
Ok, so everyone says that you need to buy such cars from Merc dealers otherwise you don't know what you're getting... Or so they say.
However, I saw a C63 at a dealer that has purchased the car through Merc Canada auction. He showed me the registration of the car being owned by Merc.
He showed me the CarProof paper saying that the car has never been in accidents.
The car has one year of warranty, which will be transfered to me.
Finally, he will do an oil change, brake change, and new winter tires before I take the car, so that's a few hundred dollars and it's cheaper than another C63 but the other one is at the Merc dealer.
Do I go with it or not? What should I know? I am worried, if anyone can tell me their experience or input please.
Car location: Canada
Thanks and happy holidays.

MBWorld Fanatic!
If the one at the MB store is certified pre-owned I would recommend spending the extra money....
Nothing like being out of warranty and having to pay out of pocket - ouch!

I would be asking myself why did Merc Canada let it go out of their dealer network (or rather why did none of their dealers want to touch it, and hence it ended up at an auction)??
I would be suspicious that a car owned by Mercedes Canada is an ex press/track day car.
Definitely go with the car at the MB dealer.
