2012 order placed - a few questions
Hey guys,
Been lurking on the forum for a while and I just ordered a 2012 c63 sedan. Turning in my leased e90 m3. Been driving BMWs for years and this will be my first Merc. I might not have considered it if they were still making m3 sedans, but I couldn't be more excited.
Ordered Iridium Silver Metallic and Red Designo Leather. P31 and just about every option except rear airbag. My production date is January 9th so I don't have a lot of time to make changes.
Just got my build sheet and I'm a little confused about a couple things despite searching and thorough research. My build sheet shows option 790 single tone wheel and my dealer tells me that it has to come this way. Are these the newer design twin spokes or the old wheels? My SA tells me it's the new one but I don't know why it would be an option code?
Also - isn't there a code for the media interface plus or does that come standard now? again, my SA said it would be on the car.
thanks in advance for any help received. looking forward to getting the new car. Lease is up Feb 20th, so I'm hoping it gets here in time.

In the US, 795 is the standard wheel (twin spoked), and 790 is the single spoke, no-charge option. IMO, the twin spoke is the newer, nicer looking wheel.
I don't have the answer for you on the Media Interface.

Media Interface Plus included in the Premium Package?
MB Canada the AMG Twin Spoke wheel seems to be standard and the AMG 16V optional. The old style 5 spoke is not even shown?

In Oz, the new 18" twinspoke is the standard wheel, but I've seen an early car delivered with the single spoke....I prefer the newer twin spoke.

Media interface plus was not an optio on my 2012. For what it's worth (bc they are all full of **** and none have their act together) my dealer confirmed:
S32 launch package includes everything the multimedia pkg has minus the rear view camera. This includes full iPod controls, streaming audio, traffic, Sirius, Harmon kardon, etc.
320 mm pkg includes all of the above plus rear view camera.
If this is not correct or others have experienced something different say the word!

Thanks for the info. Exactly what I needed to get back to my dealer. Why do we always seem to know more than the guys who work there?
