Price opinions
Happy New Year!! I was wondering if I can get a few opinions on price. I put a deposit down yesterday at a Merc dealer for the following:
2009 Certified Pre-Owned C63 AMG w/ 7500 miles
- P2 Premium Package
- AMG Leather Package
- Multimedia Package
- iPod Integration Kit
- TeleAid
We ended up agreeing on 50k plus tax. I knew that dealers try to get rid of inventory at the last day of the year and thought I would get a good deal. MSRP was 67k brand new a few years ago and the previous owner basically kept it in his garage.
Please let me know what you think. Probably picking it up tomorrow. I am very excited and very lucky to have a wife that is practically buying this for me.
Thanks.

I would say that's kinda high for an '09. I've been thinking about selling mine and I was looking possibly for mid 50's. Mine is a '11, CPO, plus all the options you listed but with LSD and rearview camera. I have to imagine that there has to be a better deal out there.
Although, if that's the average price for an '09, I might have to reinvestigate my price.

I've seen lots of 2009 models with 20-30k miles on it for 42-45k. I asked about a trade-in for my 2009 with 30k miles on it and they said 38k. So 50 seems a bit high, but it only has 7500 miles on it.
To me, the CPO doesn't mean much since its only going to give you an extra year over the factory. I certainly wouldn't pay a premium for that.

Thanks for your honest opinions. I still can't wait to pick it up tomorrow even if the price paid isn't the best of bargains. To me, it's a c63 with 7500 miles, which is practically new. I always dreamed of having this and finally will.
