New battery
Looking to get a new battery, looks like mine officially died even after trickle charging it. Car is a DD so looking for reliability, some performance (weight) and fit.
Gonna go with optima yellow top (over braille 21lb or anyone other one I searched). Anyone one know which model number optima yellow fits our cars? They don't have a mercedes application, but im guessing one works. I went with the yellow top because I have a self-powered sub and some other mods requiring voltage
Also will I need those M6 bolts for hook up? Thanks

Optimas are great batteries. I've had two in other cars and will replace the OE C63 battery with an Optima also. The Yellow Top that seems to fit best (it looks to have the same height, width and terminal placement as OE) is the D35. The downside is that D35 is 5" shorter and has only 620CCA vs. the 760-770CCA of OE. You could flip flop terminals (- and + terminals are on the same side but reversed) with extensions and use the D34 - it has 750CCA - this is probably the route I'll go. The D34 is still 4" shorter than OE.

Thanks bh. I also saw this one Sears DieHard Platinum (AGM)...only 5-10lbs less than OEM, but 4 year warranty free replacement. I'll probably give optima a try first though. When you say extension for the D34 can't you just put it in 180 degrees and the terminals will line up correctly? Maybe I'm not picturing it correctly...
