I've got an annoying rattle coming from the top of the driver side dash where it meets the windshield. I'm convinced it's coming from underneath the long grill-like strip there, but have no idea how to remove it. I'd like to install some felt tape in hopes that it goes away.

Can anyone help me out, preferably with some pics or diagrams.

You have to remove the A Pillar cover and then see this post:

To remove the a pillar cover, you have to peel it away from the door seal trim and pull upwards being careful not to break the plastic that holds the metal clips that go into the a pillar to secure the cover.

i have the same problem. do you have designo dash leather?

No. I don't have the c63 AMG but to remove that particular grill, it should be the same procedure(not sure though).
