Just wondering if the ride Lower than the regular model. I was thinking about giving a mild drop, but if the P30 already rides lower I could end up doing that work for nothing.

White has P30, Red does not.

Look at wheel well clearance. Both C63's have not been modified. Suspension wise.

You can see the ground clearance difference, but it's very minimal.

If it is lower, it isn't by much and I personally can't tell the difference.

08 & 09 P30s are definitely lower. You can really see it in the pic. The white car is sitting noticeably lower

Ive had my P30 car parked next to a couple of non-P30 cars and you can easily tell. It's not a slam but it is noticeable

The car will still go lower with springs

yes lower ~30mm (I think) not as low as an H&R spring car.

Wish mine looked like p30 lol. Almost a perfect drop. Looks good. I might need to drop mine soon!

For some reason 30mm is sticking in my head as well. Don't think the window sticker said anything if memory serves, just something like "amg track tuned suspension" or something. Definitely rides stiffer.

The difference is like riding on 19's. Its firm but not crazy so and it definitely comes to life at speed. Lets put it this way, my wife hasn't noticed the difference and complained

Maybe the 2012s are different.

I have a few friends with non Performance package 2012 C63s and they are the exact same height as mine (Performance pack equipped)

2012's are different, P31 does not include the same "track" suspension as I recall. Same goes for the 10 and 11...it's a p30 thing.

May be ~30mm but H&R springs are only 20mm.

Yes. P30 and P31 are completely different packages.

604. I wouldnt waste money on a very slight drop. Since you said you have p30, I'd keep suspension as it is and spend your money on aesthetics.

In Canada the "APX" Performance Package includes P31 and P30 in one.

Yes but P30 in 2012 is different than 2009. 2009 was a track tuned suspension that rode a lot stiffer (revised springs and dampers?)than stock and might be a little lower. 2012 has revised suspension geometry (more camber F/R) and what else? I am not sure on the exact details of either package and the info seems to be hard to find which has lead to assumptions and misinformation about either package.

I have always thought P30 to be 10% stiffer and 10mm lower than non-P30.

hmm, interesting. so if a car with the p30 package gets h&r springs, will the car actually be lowered?

Hard to say without more accurate information on how much the 2009 P30 package lowers the car. I believe on a 2012 H&R springs will lower the car 20mm = .79" but I am not sure if the ride height of the 2012 is stock or not but I believe that it is until I know different. I was a bit surprised to see that MB used the P30 code as part of the APX package in Canada.
