Pull the Trigger?

So I've been looking at C63s for some time now, new and used. I've been told otherwise by my friends as to why I was spending anywhere in the range from 45-60K for a C-class but I really would like to have one, especially and only a C63 AMG, no other C-class.

Irrespective of that, here's what I've been offered -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C63-A...item20bbb3c355

It's 72.5K MSRP but have been offered it for 60K+TTL. Do you think I can do better? I was actually thinking of counter-offering with 60K OTD but am I or should I expect to ?

Thanks for your feedback!

Up here, the local dealerships are trying to sell off the remaining 2011 stock. All of the 2011 ones I've come across are pretty much fully loaded and are being discounted by 10-12% as an incentive. I don't think it's crazy to ask for $60k OTD as I think there is additional room to move because they want to get them out of the showroom ASAP.

Thanks Illusive. By just the listing on eBay, can you tell if it is fully loaded? Is there any options I'm sure to need and want that it doesn't have? I know for sure there's no P30/P31

It doesn't look fully loaded because it doesn't have the AMG PP listed. The options are a bit different in Canada as a few of those items (like the Lighting Package and Leather Package) are already included. I think I saw the diff option in there. To me, it looks like a basic C63 in Canada with the Premium Package and Differential. To give you an idea, a fully loaded one up here with AMG PP, CF interior, 19" multi spoke wheels, metallic paint, and LSD, it came in at $82,490. Dealer currently has it discounted by $10k+.

As for options, that's your own personal opinion. The one you posted pretty much has everything I want except for the Black Birdseye Maple Trim. To me, the only package I wanted was the Premium as I didn't want to give up my COMAND and KeylessGO features that I had in my C350.

If you are ok with the equipment, then I say negotiate for $60k OTD.

You c an always try and you have nothing to lose. I don't think they will go much lower from where you are standing now.

2010 Irridium Silver MB C63 AMG Sedan
I think that its a great deal. The car is new, nicely loaded, and the price is fair. Unless you track the car VERY OFTEN, you will never never p31. It's mainly for "look what I paid extra for'. I'd get in there and maybe negotiate a few grand off but really that's it...GL

Hey D, I recognize you from MyG.

I've been shopping also, only I'm looking for a coupe. I'm hoping to nab one with everything I want within a month, otherwise I'll be ordering one (considering EU delivery).

Looks like a good deal. The car is nicely equipped also. I can't make out all the options on the window sticker, but it looks like it has LSD, I see the Lighting pack. (a must), upgraded leather, Multimedia, back up cam. You should have them fax/email a copy of the window sticker so you can see exactly what else it has. You can price it on edmunds, but that offer looks well below invoice. Invoice is ~7% off before destination/delivery and the Gas Guzzler Tax.

I don't think you'll miss the PP. An MHP tune will yield more hp, and the SLS parts only shave ~7lbs.

Good luck.

Agree with all. But the 7 lbs. is mentioned in the sense of overall weight reduction. What it really applies to is rotating mass meaning faster rpm response. Measure this in throttle response instead of weight reduction.

Whassup Vash. Thanks for the input! As you Infiniti has implemented a 6-month pull ahead program so I'm going to see what they can do and then check out this car.

I'm thinking offering 58K OTD. I haven't done business with this dealership before so they may not be so inclined to my gesture but Ray Catena's C63 Sedan is so bone dry of options, not even power seats!?!!?!?

(a)'12 C63 P/P, LSD, 19" m/spoke,comfort pack. (b)Astra SRI.
Smile

Looks like a nice example to me....I like the colour of the wood trim....haven't seen that in a C63 before. Interesting to see it has the LSD option, but without p31.
At runout time, there are amazing deals to be done, no matter what country you're in, so if you've done your homework, you'll know what's out there.
Good luck, & keep us posted.
Cheers, Pickles.

Going to check this one out tomorrow as well -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C63-4...nd-event-check

Few questions for you intelligent folks:

1) What's a loan/lien on the AutoCheck and is that something I should be wary of?
2) What can I reasonably offer for this?
3) Can anyone run a VIN Check on this vehicle for me?

Thanks!

No matter what, make sure it has LSD and the P31 package.
