Bad alignment.. anyone else with H&R Coilovers?

Starting to annoy me; to drive straight, the steering wheel has to be turned about 3-4* (I know it's not much, but it's annoying) to the left, and when I let go the steering wheel, it pulls right pretty hard. Took it for an alignment about 4 months ago, and they said the alignment is perfect. Anyone have this problem? Suggestions?

Thanks,

Mine slightly pulls to the right but I have H&R springs.
The alignment read out looked fine.
Have you recently changed out your tires?

I got michellin PSS tires today, but I had the same problem before, even right after I got it aligned. I didn't want to pay an extra $100 for alignment and them tell me the same thing, I thought I'd ask here first, maybe something else is wrong.

I was really bothered by this a while ago as well, and did numerous tests on numerous roads. I have H&R coilovers, and found that the car was generally drifting to the right.

The only useful conclusion I came up with is most roads (especially highways) peak in the middle for water run off. Therefore, because they aren't completely flat, the car will start pulling to the right. If I'm on a road that is sloped slightly to the left, it pulls left.

You may have something more serious, but be careful that you're not over complicating this.

Funny you should say that, becuase I had this same exact problem 2 days after I got my Michellin PSS and had the car aligned.

My stock suspension C63 also does this. It's a little more pronounced since I got new tires (also PSS) fitted. It annoys me some, but I figure the car is sensitive to the crowing of the road.

I have H&R springs & no alignment done yet.. Car drives straight. Make me not want to align the car after hearing all these issues.

Mine pulled to the right after sitting for the winter and installing H&R springs. Got it aligned and it still did it. In the meantime I ordered camber bolts and when they were installed the tech rotated the front tires left to right and the pull went away and has been good since. In my case it seems that it was radial pull in the tires and for some reason rotating them corrected for it. We thought it needed the camber bolts to cure the problem but it didn't cure it and rotating the tires did the trick.

Down here in sunny Florida the roads are designed with drainage in mind. We often find that extra caster must be added to the left side to get the car track straight. C's and CLK's are the most common cars we see with this issue.
Radial pull can also be a problem and it's best to swap the fronts first, even if the tires are directional, as a test. If swapping doesn't help then add caster to the right side strut rod bushing with a Mercedes adjustment bolt kit.

If you get a lot of precipitation in your area, then the pull to the right is probably due to the slope of the road. Most roads are designed with a slight slope for water runoff so it doesn't pool on the road and drains to the side.

AMG GLC63. Audi R8
The only reason a car that is properly aligned within spec will pull is the tires. Some tires just have a slight bias to them causing the car to pull. With H&R springs check the ride height is even from the right to left and adjust using a different spring pad also have camber bolts installed.
