Forgestar CF10s finally available in 19s !

A few months ago, Forgestar introduced the new CF10 - 10 Spoke sport design in 20". There was a lot of demand for the 19s and they got back to the drawing board to re-engineer the wheel in 19" fitments.

Forgestar finally released the CF10 in 19" fitment available for all Mercdes-Benz. We can start taking orders for these right away!

As always, PM us for pricing

FLOW-FORMING

Forgestar's flowforming process is a unique solution to a common problem – how to make a wheel both light and strong.

This specialized process begins with a low pressure type of casting and uses a special machine that spins the initial casting, heats the outer portion of the casting and then uses steel rollers pressed against the rim area to pull the rim to its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning create a rim area with the strength similar to a forged wheel. During Flow Forming, the pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel. The resulting grain structure within the alloy of the wheel is linear, flowing in a single direction.

This grain structure pattern, combined with the exceptional quality of casting required for the process, gives the rim area of the wheel huge mechanical strength, and elongation. As a result of these mechanical characteristics, Forgestar is able to reduce the thickness of the rim area resulting in reduced weight, without compromising strength and resistance to impact.

SEMI CONCAVE
19"
19x8.5 offsets from +14 to +52
19x9.0 offsets from +20 to +60

DEEP CONCAVE
19"
19x9.5 offsets from +2 to +42
19x10 offsets from +8 to +48
19x11 offsets from +21 to +61
19x12 offsets from +34 to +74

For the third year in a row Forgestar is awarded a global media for introducing one of the best new product at SEMA 2011! This year it is with the amazing and elegant CF10!

Is the highest rear offset in the 19x10 an ET48? Anything slightly less aggressive?

Should have offered a 9.5" in the Semi Concave. In time we will see if a 10" Deep Concave ET +48 will fit with a 275/30R19 such as the Michelin PSS. My guess is it will rub thus limiting the selection of rear tire widths and makes. Maybe not that big a deal to most people and nice wheels at a good price point. May tend to stretch the rear fitment a little.

We have found customers to prefer the staggered concave look between front and rear wheels in RWD vehicles. You would prefer the same concavity on all 4 corners?

We would recommend a 19x8.5F 19x9.5R for the C63 with these, as we do most of the time on the F14s. You can run a 275 on a 9.5 easily. The offsets will be similar in terms of fender clearance but will give you a lot more clearance inside.

We have run many 19x10+48 and +50 without issues in the past.

Question

Anyone think these wheels bear some similarity to the Black Series wheels?

Good news!
So, you say that 8.5 semi concave and 9.5 concave is recommended for the C63...but in what offsets?

True, it seems the wheel forging profiles were very mild on concavity at all 4 corners.

We can do 19x9.5+42 or 19x10+48, there are the highest offsets Forgestar can make these in. Both have the same fender fitment.

Are the CF10 available in a finish similar to the BS above? Or perhaps a brushed/tinted? The BS looks like a pewter color to me.

Do you do wheel and tire packages on the CF10 and guarantee fitments?

With this fitment and the car lowered...do the fenders need rolled?

What tires do you plan on running?

It will not work with a 285, it will with a 275 with added camber, it will a 265 easily.

+48 will most likely be too aggressive, on lowered cars we usually run 275s with 19x10+53, and even then, it depends on your lowering.

I would retain the 265 on the 9.5 or the 10 !

If I were to order a 19 inch set in the brushed color for a 2012 c 63 coupe. What offsets would look agressive? Also how much of a clearance would I have in the wheel well? Would a 19 inch fill the fender pretty good, where I wouldn't need a drop? Also pm me a price to 48044 with tires and tmps. 275 back, 245 front. Deep concave

19x8.5+40 to 45
19x10+48 or 19x9.5+42 - same fender clearance, a lot more wheel well clearance.

The 19s are the ideal fitment for C63s, 20s are just too big.

You have a PM!

Hi, can you email or PM me with some W212 E63 pricing?

Do the 9.5 semi concaves clear calipers in front?
Have you succesfully done rear 11's w/295 and or 305 tires?

Does Forgestar have these blanks in hand now?

With a 19x9.5 in a 42 offset, I guess 265 is the widest tire you could go before rubbing? I heard with a 9.5 in a 45 offset, anything bigger then 275 rubs.

Correct, that is what we recommend. You could run a 19x10+48, fender clearance is the same but it will stretch the 275 a tad and with camber, it will fit.

That is the only downside of Forgestar wheels... if they would do a ET53 to ET 55 offset on their 19x10s then you could run a wider tire which would be great. Otherwise, these are beautiful wheels.

I agree, bummer they did not engineer a high offset possibility into these.
