Mustang Dyno MY2011 P31

93 Octane. All stock. 75F-80F. 6800 RPM

1st Run
377WHP
329TQ

2nd Run
394WHP
346TQ

3rd Run
396WHP
347TQ

4th Run, 80F. If it was colder...
406WHP
354TQ



Happy with results. But first run did break my heart. Will post a scan tomorrow when I get to a scanner. Technician/Owner mentioned that he's done thousands of runs and they have a solid ~18% loss on their Mustang Dyno. Only two Mustangs in Houston. That would equate to about 495BHP. Only one other C63 was ever dynoed in his shop and it only did ~365WHP and 330TQ final run and did not have P31. They took it to a dynojet and it did 390WHP. He told me that my car would read 430 low to 480 high on a dynojet. Either he's crazy or my car is a freak?

P.S. He also mentioned that if it were in correct winter temps I would read up to possibly 20WHP more. He also asked me what it ran before my mods after the final run . All this talk makes me want to track it.

very nice sounds very healthy, a stock C63 with P31 puts down roughly 387whp and 364tq on our mustang.

Interesting....What would you say that equates to at the fly, & have you any real comparisons between a "stock" C63, & the P31 version.....in other words, at the wheels, what, in your experience is the difference, in numbers?

I wanted to squeeze one more run but the oil was reaching 250F+ and didn't want to overdo it. 5800 on odo. Beat her since I had her.

I dyno'd my car once, it said 360RWHP. That was tuned. That works out to about 440HP at the crank..

Which is not true at all.. Dyno's are junk. I ran 119MPH at the track tuned and 114-115MPH stock...

Made a mistake about the stock C63. I meant 330TQ and 360WHP. Will edit when on a comp and not a phone.

But they are useful for mods and such. I know there are infinitely many variables that alter readings.

So, with an absolutely STOCK P31, you've got 406HP at the treads. What did your dyno man say that this would equate to at the fly?

I doubt the BS is 510bhp. Probably closer to 530-550. They can't let us know on paper that most 6.3L are almost as strong as the 200k+SLS.

Makes you wonder if the 563 hp quoted for the SLS is legit...

They're going to push the motor to 100hp/l for the SLS black. Who knows which motor is truly wrung out?

Thanks for that......Nice feeling I reckon, knowing ya've got a big "500" under the bonnet!!.....And that was with a dyno run just basically seeing "what ya've got"....with no mods?

Had to make sure MB wasn't blowing air up our *****. All stock including charcoals, but I do have LSD.

When I get a chance I might go do some more runs and remove the charcoals though. I'll find a day where the temp is the same.
