Carbon Fiber vinyl wrap of interior trim
I am considering doing a vinyl wrap of the interior aluminum trim in my car. Carbon Fiber appearance is what I was looking for, but only if doesn't look cheesy. Has anyone done this, and what type of vinyl is best to get the look as close to the original factory option trim?
Are the trim pieces easily removed, or would it be better to just work with it in place?

I just had mine wrapped with 3m Di Noc Vinyl. It is a flat not glossy carbon look. It looks 1000 time better than the lame wood trim. They wrapped the door trim as is and pulled out and wrapped the center pieces. The shop I took it to did a pretty good job on the doors, it is tough but at the same time its not easy to pull the door trim off, you can't really notice unless you really stare at them hard or in some still photos. I chose vinyl after seeing a member's photos here are some crappy pics I took of mine. Good luck modding

I do this at work almost everyday....
Use the new 3M or Oracle gloss carbon film.
DiNoc is not really made for vehicle wrapping. It's an architectural film (thick) It was popular in the automotive scene... so 3M released an actual vehicle wrapping carbon material... It's called 3M 1080 wrapping film.
This film will match the factory carbon the closest.... In all honesty nothing beats the real thing.
hope that helps

I have the glossy CF 1080 wrap done on mine. Best bang for the buck if you don't want to go all out crazy with interior. IMHO, the wrap looks good, if not better than the real thing. The guy who did the wrapping did a pretty awesome job. It's not perfect but everything looks better. Sorry about the crappy pics.
