Aluminum shift knob cap for C63
C63 keyless go button was removed from the shift knob to the front dash panel, so the shift knob cap is generic like other Mercedes models

Got my AMG shift knob cap today in the mail from Ivan. Great quality a breeze to install, used a hair dryer and razor blade. Makes the shift knob look so much better without the star emblem. Great easy mod for people like the AMG door lock pins.

Basically I followed these pics from another post
https://mbworld.org/forums/5036792-post2.html
Once you heat it up a little put the razor blade in and begin to push and lift it up, the OE Cap will begin to loosen and pop up. Then you can slowly peel it off. I was able to keep majority of the original glue and heated it up and put the new AMG cap on. Didn't use any other glue or anything and it seems to be on there pretty well. I was going to use hot glue but decided I didn't need to.
It is very easy once you heat it up. Originally I wasn't sure how you could do it, but found a DIY by the seller Ivan that made it look really easy.
