HELP:2012 C63 interior lighting question?

Hey guys,
I just got my c63, love it. My only question is, when I enter the car at night, the interior lights do not turn on until "I find" the key hole for the ignition and start it up. I am sure I can find how to make them turn on in the owners manual, but it's at home.
Would I find it in "Vehicle Info" on the screen? Or do I turn the head lapmp switch to a particular setting? I just find it hard to find the key hole at night when I get in the car to go home. Yes, I am asian, and have small eyes, but my vision is perfectly fine.. Lol. No seriously though, how can I set my car so that upon opening the door (before I start it), the interior lights come on?
Thanks for any info and the help

IIRC, you can turn on this feature in your settings with the steering wheel. Scroll through the different menus and see if you can find it. I think it's something like Convenience Lighting...my interior lights turn on when I open my door...

I have a 2010 but assume the controls are the same. There is an Automatic Control in the overhead panel over the mirror. You (or someone) have turned in "Off" and need to turn it "ON". There is a row of three buttons front to rear and you need to push the center one. Flush is "On" depressed is "Off". When the switch is in the "On" position the interior light comes on when you:

. unlock the vehicle
. remove the key (Interior Light Delay must be switched on)
. open a door
