Collection potential ?
Curious as to what u guys think about the long term value of the c63 coupe... Being that the newer amg engines are in the wings and the shift away from large displacement naturally aspirated engines, is this a car to hold onto for the long term?

Well, considering that NA engines seem to be on their way out, I think it will hold it's value a little better now. I, personally, prefer NA engines, but that's just me.

Next C63 is going to be 5.5 NA V8... Id hold onto these big cubes.. If parts werent so damn expensive, I'd see them holding their value more like supras and old skylines...But since brakes, etc are a small fortune, ppl wont be lined up to buy these.

Where did you hear this? I've mostly been hearing 4.6L TT, but I'll admit I'm not well connected with AMG insiders.

i hate to break any ones heart, but i see no reason for our cars to hold there value any better than most any amg vehicle before ours.
and i dont think that anyone has confirmed the 5.5 option being in the next model. correct me if im wrong.

Just look at the CLK63 BS. It was a one year production run and pretty darn exclusive and probably a better collector than the current C63.
I believe the BS was around 140k when new. You can pick one up for under 80k...
