Thinking of buying CPO c63, some questions
I live in Southern California so if anyone has recently bought a used c63 in So Cal please chime in. There are a few available but I won't list each car. In general my options are 2009 or 2010 c63, mileage ranges from 18-23K miles. I'll only buy one w/ leather interior, multimedia and lighting package at the minimum.
Questions are:
1.I know I'll be paying more for CPO than private seller but how much off kelley blue book should I aim for
2.Was the greatest improvement in interior the 2012 model? I'm asking because then it wouldn't really matter if I get 2009 or 2010, just get the one I get the best deal on
3.Any known issues specific to these years I should look at while test driving that would potentially be a deal breaker?
4.Can't find a diamond white preowned - was this available back in 09?
Thanks and hope to have some good news

The 3 biggest differences from the MY2008-2011 and the MY2012 is the interior, the suspension, and the transmission. The suspension changes make for a much more comfortable ride and even better handling. The transmission is the wet clutch MCT. This doesn't even mention other changes like the telematics and P31 upgrade with the SLS forged titanium rods and pistons.
If only between an 09 and 10, you may want to consider warranty. The newer model will obviously have more time on the warranty remaining.

Thanks for the feedback. So if KBB isn't a good source, what's the best way to know if I"m getting a good deal? Let's say 2009 CPO w/ 20K miles. After everyone's input I'm going to really have to compare the interior of the 2009-2010 with the 2011 and determine if I'd be satisified with the interior, suspension, etc of the older model.

The MY2012 has all new color LCD gauges for the speedo and COMAND screen plus the much need COMAND software upgrades. Some reported that the new seats are little less hugging but I don't know for sure. Launch control and the MCT are big pluses but not necessary deal breakers against CPOs. Whatever model year you end up getting, just make sure you do reserve some money for new tires as the stock ones sucked.

I am in the same boat so I'll share a helpful small bit of info. The MY09's have a "worse" ipod interface than the 10/11's. 10/11's allow the info to be displayed on the large center screen. With 09's, it's limited to the small bit of text on the center dash. There's more to it than this (i.e. can't easily upgrade to the glovebox module that allows Pandora and bluetooth audio in the 09's), but that's the gist of it.

+1 the 2010 P31 is a better package and a major inmprovement in the IPOD interface. The 2012 looks nicer inside but on a used basis there may not be enough of a price drop.
