M3 - C63 blk/blk ordered
New to MB really appreciate some advice
This is my first MB, I ordered the '12 C63 sedan black/black and am expecting delivery end of the month. The sales manager who is a long time friend had recommended the new standard dual spoke wheels (style 795), but I went with the prior now optional single spoke (style 795) because: 1) I hadn't seen the dual spoke in real life and from pictures I liked them on lighter color cars, but wasn't sure how much I liked them on black, 2) I thought the single spoke looked pretty stout on black 3) I thought the dual spoke looked similar to optional dual spoke AMG wheels found on other C Class models, versus the single spoke is only order-able on the C63 and thought it was unique. In any event my car is getting closer and my friend finally got a C63 with the dual spoke 795 wheels in. I actually think it looks nicer than the pictures I had seen. He is offering me the option to switch it out with my car if he still has the other car in when mine arrive. From you all being experienced owners what are you preferences, which wheel would you go with? Thanks for any feedback.

I have the optional, I thought I wanted the standard as it looked pretty sleek. However, I've really grown to like the optional. I painted mine black and I think if you wanted to paint your wheels you have two options (paint it all black or paint only the inserts).
Either way, I'm sure you will love the car. Good luck

Both are great designs. The twin-spoke looks larger due to the lip styling and shows more brake caliper and rotor, a definite plus if you have the early-style floating rotor (as I do).

I ordered the twin spoke wheels for a black magnetite coupe. I suspect I will swap them out for black rims, and black paint most of the badges. Then will come the inevitable engine upgrades. Too much fun!

BAM!.. nice shot
You have to understand a lot of members here have the prior models with the single spokes and they love there wheels, I like em too. I had single spokes at first, (MB error) with my 2012. They do look good but not any better than the twin spokes. So I fought to get the newer and lighter wheel and never looked back!

Im partial to the twin 5 spokes. Then again i had twin 5 spokes on my c350. Best to go look at both sets at the dealer see what you like best. Rims are definitely a subjective item to each his own.

Hi mate my advice is to ignore what everyone else reckons and go with the one YOU like. From your original post it looks like you are leaning toward the dual spoke option so go with that!!
Or if you really want to confuse yourself what about the optional 19 inch rim?? (For the record I reckon the OEM polished multispoke 19 inch wheel trumps them all).

Thanks to everyone for their input. Could people please answer two questions: 1. What do you like about the new rims, is it just new and if fervent after 4 years of te same? 2. They look it, but does anyone know if the new rims are truly lighter? Thanks

Can't say about the new ones, but I just got my winter wheels from the dealership (4x front of the solid spoke) and holy crap are they heavy. My two piece 19" wheels weigh almost the same (according to me lifting them...not a quantified value)!!!
