Tire Size - Need to finalize my new shoes
Hey folks, so I am just in talks with my "wheel expert" and I am getting some mixed vibes on whether or not I am going to have fitment issues on a set of wheels I am finalizing the deal on. It seems like most of you on this forum have much more insight when it comes to the C63 (not that my guy doesn't, he just hasn't worked on many C63's).
So here's my issue, I bought a set of tire which I picked up to what us Canadians would consider a steal on new rubbers. Now the problems is will they fit without rubbing. Here are the specs:
Tires:
Front: 235/30/20 (can be changed to 245/30/20 if necessary)
Rear: 275/30/20
Wheels:
Front: 20 x 9 et 40
Rear: 20 x 10 et 55
Any ideas on whether or not I can expect to run into problems before I commit?

That sounds like you won't have any issues. The front offset is a touch low, I think my Work wheels for my C350 were +44, but I think we have some additional room with the C63. Rears should be OK, I ran 265s with the same offset and had no rubbing issues. I think others have run 275s without issue.

I'm sure these will look nice but people compained the stock 19" had road survivability issues. I hope you live in a place with perfectly paved streets. I've never had good experiences with plus 1 (plus 2 in your case) with wider wheels and tires. MBZ just does give you much room to play with on an AMG.
