What else could go wrong?
After placing my order for my C63 in November at MB of Fairfield, CA, it took me 5 weeks to get an answer for my allocation. What I was told back then was that it was a December allocation with a Feb 3rd build date. On 1/3, I visit the dealer to add the development package. Dealer confirmed on 1/25 that everything is still on track for a 2/3 build. I visited the dealer on 2/9 to get a status update and it was verbally told it was "in production".
Here comes the salt on the wounds...after I initiated an email for status request, I received an email that said
Decade Planned 12/03-01
Decade Scheduled 12/03-3
Est. Production Date. 2012/04/3D
I visit the dealer again to see what's going on and he pulls up my order in NetStar and the PO number matches with what I've been provided back on 2/9, but the color was wrong, interior trim, and sound system was all wrong. Now rather than just getting the single disc nav package, I have to get the multimedia package.
By the time I take delivery, I'll be shopping for a 2013
