So I was wondering why my AMG insignia doesn't light up when I open my door like all the nice pictures of the C63's on here do.
Answer= Apparently its not an available option in Canada even with the lighting package etc.
So my question is has anyone in Canada checked into this to see if the wiring harness and everything is in place and all we need to do is plug in a bulb? Or do they really vary that much in build specs from country to country...its still a North American build after all.
PS I'd look myself but I am literally working in the middle of the woods and won't be back to civilization for a while and don't really trust the wife enough around the car with tools to ask her to do it

I doubt it's there, and yes MB has lots of small details that vary from market to market.

Nope, you'd need to get all new sills and wire it up yourself unfortunately...stock ones are not the illuminating type, just the standard metal sills...

I know there are small variants from market to market, but I would consider Canada and the US very similar markets. I still want the light up door sills, I was just hoping it would be an easier fix
