Aftermarket Wheels and Offsets...

OK, so I did some searching but wasn't able to find a conclusive answer to this question. I'm trying to figure out what are the appropriate widths and offsets that most people use for an aftermarket wheel, in 19 inch. Versus stock offsets.

For example, on my old Audi, the stock wheels were 18x8 with 42 offsets. When going up to a 19x8.5 I used 32mm offsets for a good fitment without any "poke".

What would be the right 19 inch widths front/rear and offsets? And what other AMG models is that comparable with? For example, would 19 inch wheels made for an '05 E55 be a good fit on the C63?

Thanks!

Most common are:
19x8.5 ET54
19x9.5 or 19x10 ET50

I think you meant to say 19x8.5 ET45 for the front.
8.5 ET54 would be pushed in even more then stock...might even rub the brakes.

I myself have searched Both C63 & C class forums & IMO for a rear 9.5" wheel, +50 would be an ideal offset especially if you plan on running P275/30R19 tires & lowering the car. I just bought a set of 19" Stance SC-5ive wheels & the rear 9.5" has a +48 offset & judging by some pics of member "silversx" car in the C class forums who's running P265's on his SC-5ive's, the P275 is going to be close.

It really depends on 2 things, are you lowering the car & what size rear tire your going to use??

Hopefully I'll have the wheels, tires & H&R springs on in a few weeks, will post pics then.

Unfortunately Mercedes-Benz designed the C Class with an extremely high offset for the rear, even on the AMG cars! Your selection is limited from other Mercedes models, actually none other than the C Class W204 wheels will fit.

Ideal would is 19x8.5+45 19x10+50.

If you need further help in your wheel selection - let us know!

I will say it again, 19x10 +50mm offset will rub on 275/30 IF u plan on lowering. I don't rub cuz my rears have +52-53mm offset.

If ur nor lowering bluejae, then u'll be ok with almost any combo. Lol But trust me, once u get wheels, the temptation to lower is big.. Lol

i'm sure i'll be tempted... i've already been tempted several times but the front lip is already too low... unless i get a new front lip or perhaps the dtm bumper, i don't see myself risking the height...

today i saw this slammed scion driving through this shopping area (known to have 2-3 huge speed bumps)... he never made it over and ended up turning around while traffic waited for him to reverse, forward left, reverse right, forward left, reverse right, and then drive off...slowly
