Dads C63 + New MHP Cams = Great Passes !!!!
Not sure if this has been posted yet, but looks like Keith has run 10.80s @ 129 mph in a not-so great weather. His previous best (which was in better weather) was 11.09 @ 126 mph.
Congrats Keith.... and keep the good times coming
Closing in on 10.70s....

We ran all day trying out the new hood vs carbon fiber etc....
Did a track rental here at OSW and had positive DA all day.
First off, I have to be honest and tell you that the ram air hood is probably a trade off. It weighs 31# more than the carbon fiber. I can tell you the 60' got better as soon as we put it on. Could be a coincidence but it did. I gained about .1 and only 1mph more with the ram air hood. It was a huge project and probably will be a one of a kind.
I do think it has more value with the nitrous than running N/A.
Now, on to the results. The car has the full MHP set up.
It has the MHP heads, cams, intake gaskets, thermostat, LTH's, full race exhuast. Also has the carbon fiber roof and trunk. No passenger or rear seat and a carbon fiber drivers seat. probably as many weight savings tricks as there is except Dodger63. I think he has a few I don't have.
Light weight wheels and skinnies. All that being said it ran almost .3 faster and almost 5mph faster than it ever has in Florida. Best its run here I believe was an 11.06 @124mph.
Today we ran countless 10.8's over and over. Did get a 7.96 60-130 in the mix N/A.
Best was:
Then we added the nitrous and found we had traction problems.
Tried many different things until we ran out of time. Best run was only:
The MPH was over 3mph higher than last time out when we ran a 10.39 @ 134.7mph. We have to work on some drive line and traction problems at his level.
Video of the nitrous run:
I did like the 1/8 mile at 6.83 @ 108mph!! Keep racing and be safe!!
All in all we had a great day out.
