Introduction and noob question on which is the best ECU tuner
hey guys
im new to the merc world, had a heap of BM's before and I was really scared to move over to a merc cause i kept getting told that a c63 wasnt as good as my m3 but then i drove one and i was sold
look, im not saying my new ride is perfect but once u hear that sound in a tunnell then u know its ok lol
anyways, i got afe intake and akrapovic on my m3, and i know all the good stuff but now im a newbie and i have no idea what to get
i did a bit of a search so i dont get flamed, but im none the wisa after looking at the screen for an hour
let me get this straight, i dont take it to the quarter mile, but i do want to spank anyone lines up against me so the tune has to perform
whatever one i get im gona go to the dyno
whats up with a canned tune and does it need to be dynoed and are all the tunes the same just different if u get mods
im gona do charcoal delete and row airboxes, i know that from my dearches, im not completely stupid
so anyways, what is the strongest tune
im gona get exhaust but not now, so dont bother about that, im gona get either mhp or evosport
im in irvine, socal
is a mailorder tune ok or has it got to be live tuned with a laptop

You're better off doing your own research and make up your mind. A canned tune from any of the reputable tuners will work good. They are all very close to each other in performance.

Why do I think this is another setup post? Only thousands of threads on this board about tunes already. A tuner conducting a fly-in custom tuning session who is not a sponsor and cannot be named. Ad nauseum...

Like Merc63 said, its better to do your own research. Since your in Socal I highly recommend going with OE Tuning.
