are you able to adjust it now? You broke part of it or all of it?

home the point
Looks like the lever isn't sold separately but together with the steering column cover. The entire steering column replacement is about $850. Still, $1700 seem excessive.

Lever is broken flush... nothing left to adj. Use the memory presets to get adjusted.
Will call the other MB dealer to see if its the same story.
May also bring to local repair shop to see if can be re-attached "creatively"

Still open to your ideas, tks

I'm embraced to say that I bought the car with the broken lever... thinking it wouldn't be that expensive to repair/replace. The 65 yr old... nice guy... I bought the car from was at least 6ft4. Had a hard time getting in/out of car... and forget the seats... Said that he was just getting use to holding his breath to squeeze between the bolters. Broke the lever getting in/out of car.
So lesson learned for me in a costly way... hope this helps someone else!

I'd try junkyards and look for any W204 C sedan that may have that lever. For $1700, I'd try to Mcgyver first if it was me.
