Velos C63 AMG Flash! Intro Pricing @ Vivid Racing!
Velos Designwerks Performance Software
Pricing even lower then before!
**ECU must be shipped to Velos for reflashing**
C63 AMG (W204)
It is no secret the AMG Powered C63 is detuned from the factory. Velos Designwerks has been able to remap the cars software to free up the missing HP. Through countless house of dyno testing the Velos Designwerks crew has been able to increase the Naturally aspirated V8’s power to 497 BHP and 477 lb-ft of torque (SAE Corrected). This is an increase of over 16% in HP that involves a remapping of several of the factory’s ECU maps including, but not limited to, the fuel maps, throttle maps, ignition maps, and limiters. Velos Designwerks makes it a point to show the a/f ratio where other tuners choose to hide this information due to the car’s nature to run rich.
When it comes to unleashing your C63’s true potential the Velos Designwerks Performance Software is the choice for the true enthusiasts.

I'm confused. You say the tune gains about 60whp, yet the graphs above show 100whp gain from baseline. What exactly in represented in the dyno graphs? And if it's not tune only, I would say that is very misleading to the less informed consumer.

I apologize that was supposed to say WTQ, I will change it now

No problem. But I'm still a bit confused. The dyno graph shows 100whp gain, yet the wording above mentions 92hp crank gains. Which is correct? And how can tune only make 100whp? That amount of power gain is more typical of Stage 2, tune and longtube headers.

The 92 peak BHP is an error on our part. The dyno chart shows a 100 rwhp gain over stock.
The BHP corrected correctly (same as the torque) will equal ~120.

Thank you for clarifying. I've got to say, 120hp crank from just a tune is amazing to say the least. Well done Velos!

Hahaha, I was so confused. I thought maybe someone meant to post in a different thread. Thanks for letting me know!

This thread is really confusing. If I started with 451 bhp and your tune gets me to 497 bhp, isn't that really low?
Even after reading the thread and you are saying you made a mistake in the original post, can't you update the original post to have the correct numbers? Wouldn't 451 + 120 put the car at 571 bhp? Also, how does 120 hp equate to 100 rwhp? Wouldn't that number be closer to 50-60 rwhp?
Feel free to school me if I am wrong because I am certainly not an expert or even close. I just keep seeing this thread bumped and I keep going back to reading it and get confused every time.

The manufacturer quoted 451 is crank hp, the 4XX quoted by vivid is wheel hp which is lower than crank hp due to drivetrain loss. So, stock the car is 451hp/3XXwhp, tuned it is 571hp/4XXwhp (whatever the numbers are shown on the dyno). Although, the 354hp rating seems very low.

All I am asking is what the real numbers are and it's clear that this thread cannot give that.

Vivid quoted 497 bhp meaning the tune gives 497 to the crank. Where did you get 571 hp from? None of there numbers match from what they're saying and the dyno. So your saying their tune is putting out 120 rwhp? They're claiming 92 bhp. If that is true the it would be 543 bhp.

I'm pretty good at math.
