I received my first ANYstream in September 2011. It worked for a few days in my 2009 C63 and suddenly stopped working. Send it back and Cartronics send me a new one in October 2011.
The 2nd one worked fine for a while and in Dec it stopped. In January I requested replacement and I am still waiting for it. Early February they said that due to floods in Thailand the plants were not shipping any new devices and on 2/17 they said that they are shipping now.
On 3/13 I send an email requesting an update on the shipping date of my replacement and I never heard anything back. Today is 3/21 and I still havent seen the replacement and I just tried to call them and their voicemail is not accepting new calls.
Does any one have any information on what is going on with Cartronics?
Are they out of business?

Check in the site announcements section. Apparently Cartronics was a proprietorship and the owner passed away last week. Best of luck in getting the situation rectified!

I checked their facebook page and cannot find anything regarding Cartronics seizing business. If it is indeed true that the owner died I feel sorry for his family and the $80.00 I loose will not put me in the poor house but having said that it does prove that dealing with these little one man shops does bring risks. Of course it is hard to see from a web site what or who is behind it and one can only assume that there is a back up plan in case of emergencies but often that is not the case.

When it worked, the little device in my opinion was a great way of utilizing iphone music on our dated audio system via bluetooth, who is going to step in CarTronic's foot steps and start marketing them next????.....

We use midcityengineering for all of our integrations systems, remote start, ipod, bluetooth, and the escort 9500ci cluster integration.

Damm i just order mine on March 2 and haven't received it yet. Seems like I won't received it now. gonna call my bank to have it back charge it back to me. this sucks.

I just had my Cartronics black box bluetooth phone installed and need to pair it with my blackberry. Anyone know how to do this. I have a 2006 E320 CDI. Thanks in advance for any help.

sorry after checking my BB does not detect it at all. I think I need to turn on the "discover" on the cartronics device, anyone have suggestions how to do this. It still works with the android phone. Thanks in advance for your help.

my dad personally knew him since we're sort of in the same industry. as a sole proprietorship when the owner dies, the business dies 90% of the time. maybe his 13 year old son can do something with it? who knows it's been close to a month since his death now. that was him posting all over this forum. not his coworkers or anything.

Hey everyone,

First want to say thanks for all your help up to this point. I have a cartronics bluetooth for my phone. Before the company closed down, a very helpful tec help me set up my old android to work, and it worked great, and still does. Now I have a blackberry and my partner has the android (did not work well with my mac). I can't seem to get it to sync. I did find out how to get into the menu but don't know how to "turn on" the pairing function. Anyone have any suggestions? You can also send an e-mail and I will follow up.

Don't mean to take anything away from Cartronics, RIP brother!!

But anyone looking for a wireless bluetooth solution, I'm using the blackberry media gateway. I think I paid like $18 and it can also stream bluetooth from any BT phone i've tried (multiple platforms) and it does not interfere with the regular bluetooth in COMAND.. It plugs into the AUX (if you have one or can find it.. mine was hidden), and you sync your phone to it. Acts as any regular BT headset. automatically sync with both my car and the gateway as soon as i turn it on with no issues here.

i got my anystream problably two months ago it worked great!!! best $75 i could've spent!!! however i used it stopped working a couple days ago and im goin nuts lol... since cartronics is not operating anymore does anybody know if there is something similar to the anystream for a 2009 c300?

I just came to know about cartronics anystream......i tried a bluetooth adaptor for ipod from ebay...but it didnt work in my C300....does anyone know about any other make which will work in mercedes????

And for discovery mode of the device, you need to un-pair it from your old device first.

b16, what car are you using the ML-D100 in? Are you experiencing any negatives with this receiver?

Using in my 2009 C63. No problems so far, I've only had it for a week or so. Sound quality is pretty good too.
