'12 C63 vs 09-11 C63

I've been lurking around the forum for the past year or so and am ready to pull the trigger on a purchase in the next few months. I know there have been a few threads out there on the topic but thought I would get another one posted.

I drove the 2012 C63 sedan last weekend and have an appointment to drive a 2010 this weekend down in Sac, but was wondering beyond the obvious price and cosmetic changes to the exterior / interior if there were any big differences that owners have noticed. I do prefer the sedan over the coupe just for personal / practical reasons, but will also be driving the coupe this weekend to see what its like.

I am leaning towards the 2012 but any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

The MCT tranny is the only big difference to me.

Suspension changes too. I have heard bushings, camber and more but can't say for sure but all reports are that handling is improved as a result.

Thanks for the insight and replies! With the MCT are the gear changes noticeably quicker in all settings or mainly Sport + and Manual? Good to know about the handling as well as this will definitely help when I am checking out the 2010 this weekend.

Handling, unlikely, car still wants to over steer and wrap you around a poll everywhere you go. I quite enjoy it though.

The car does like to come around doesn't it.

Most reviews have commented that the handling of the 2012s has been improved. I can't confirm from personal experience (as I have had limited time in a pre 2012) but it seems to be a consistent comment from what I have read/watched.

Sure does, even the BS is all over the place.

Add another 100rwhp and 400TW tires. You better be paying attention if that ESP is off haha.

Even in sport mode there is a LOT of rear movement. I'll explore it some more this summer at the track
