Service A1 Popping Up
Hi All,
I purchased my 2010 used and called the original dealer in FL for service history. They confirmed that all maintenance had been done on or before mileage requirements, including service B at around 19,500 miles. They said I was good to go until 30,000.
I'm now getting a "Service A1 Due" on my display. I don't know what that is or why I'm seeing it at just over 25,000 miles. Can someone enlighten me so I can either do something or just reset?
Thanks,
Joe

Have you been thrashing or tracking your 63, or driving short distances in start stop situations in town? If so, this could be the reason the electronics detect that some fresh oil etc. needs to be looked at. Just my 2cents worth, as my 43 nearly doubled the "normal" distance because I only drive it long distance and everything gets nice and hot all the time.

Interesting. Yes, always short distances and it sits sometimes for several days between drives.

I don't think it has anything to do with how u drive.. The service light will come on every 365 days from the last reset regardless if u reached the km or not.

Yes, service A is only an overpriced oil change at the stealer.. Lol They want u to change it once a year even u don't drive the car much (like myself).
