New C63 Owner...Finally
Hey Guys,
I've been a member of this forum for a little while and have finally purchased my C63. I was going to wait until after tax season, but my wife encouraged me to test drive a 2011 C63 that I had my eye on at Mercedes Benz of Coral Gables. It didn't have all the options I wanted, but after driving around for 20 min with the salesman, as he encouraged me to "give it some gas!!" I was sold. Fortunately, my wife was too. She absolutely loves the exhaust note. I'm having such a blast tearing down unused backroads near my house. I'm actually getting pretty used to the power already and I'm itching for a tune. The mod bug has bitten hard as I've already installed clear corners, AMG Aluminum door pins, AMG tire valves and am awaiting my JBSpeed diffuser and Spoiler. I'm truly addicted

Congrats on your new car... she is a beauty! One advice on your first mod... real CF interior kit or CF overlay interior kit, it will look better than the red wood... just my opinion though.

You are right on, I don't understand the appeal of the wood trim. Where would be the best place to purchase a CF kit?

I don't think I got the best deal possible. The car is a CPO 2011 with 6000 miles on the odometer, they were asking $58K. I spent nearly an hour negotiating my trade in value (I did get $1000 more for it). After this I only was able to negotiate $1k off the sticker. I certainly could have pushed further, however, I was starving and my wife was anxious to get to the mall So, I did cave after a few back and forths with the salesman and his manager. I'm not sure what I could have ultimately got it for, but I'm just happy to have her
I hope this helps.
