Are Agency Power headers worth it?
I see the vendor sells them for $2500, but there are tons of sites that sell it for as low as $2150 - $2500

I know MHP is the clear choice because they show dyno charts and provide the tuning as well. But was just wondering????
Does anyone on this forum have them?

Ask Rob @ Vivid for his dyno charts. From what I was told, I got an extra 50+ hp gain from the already raised 481 hp from the AMG Perf Pkg, but he also removed the cats on the exhaust system so I'm not sure what sort of impact that would have on your numbers if you left them on.

They look like quality headers, though they aren't true LTH's because the merge collector is located before the final bend. Hopefully some members will chime in and give us some feedback on how the system performs.
If your looking for LTH's in the similar price range then I would check out the Benzworks headers.

Yep those Benzwork are LTHs.
I don't even wanna say the dreaded M word.. Don't want to get tar'd and feathered.
But if you do your research I'm sure you will make a good choice.

Comparatively speaking mhp headers or on the price game, best thing to do is call or if your local tristate give Craig @ rpm a call I think he might have a few installs coming up so it could be condusive to better pricing?? Who knows
But besides that not sure if I've heard anything good or bad about agency headers

love mine, won't be dynoing her until next month though, so i can't truly tell you what their numbers are like on mine, but their videos speak for themselves, sound amazing, i will be putting up a video late this week of my setup, if you don't have a catback, their catback is a great option being that you can kill the loud from time to time if you don't feel like roaring down the streets 24/7, i mean... doesn't keep me from keeping them closed, i have them open over 80% of the time haha

If you're going through the expensive of getting headers, get true long tube headers and rebuild the entire exhaust to optimize the increased flow. The 4 into 1 collector on long tube header creates a scavaging effect with each exhaust pulse pulling the exhaust flow from the next cyclinder that fires. This is turn create negative pressure (due to valve timing overlap) in the combustion chamber and the exhaust pulse helps pull in the intake charge. That's why each exhaust cylinder exhaust tube is of equal length (and has all the contorted bends in them to accomplish this) to get to a balance and consistant zone of negative pressure in the collector. On a street car with smog requirements you'll need one set of cats (the factory second set is just a clean up set than does not have O2 sensors and hence removing them will not cause CEL's). You can use 100 cell cats as long as the internal surface area is the same as the stock cats. There is an ongoing debate regarding what to replace the resonator with, straight pipes, and X pipe, or and H pipe. The factory mufflers will get louder and I haven't seen much in cost effective HP gains with aftermarket mufflers. The engine bay is a tight fit so be prepared for additional noise as not all headers have sufficient clearance. Log type and shorty headers are a waste of money.
