just normal poor gas mileage or something worng?
so i got my car late last fall, so i didn't get to drive it much befor it went into storage for the winter....and since it was a new toy i was alway giving it....but now i am back driving it and i get about 300-350km city driving on a full tank.....is this the normal consumption for the 6.3L pig or is there something wrong with it?.

I am getting around 16.2L/100km city and 401 driving in the C63... my slk 280 gets about 14.0L/100km all city driving... my jeep diesel powered by 3.0L turbo Mercedes engine gets 10.9 city driving.
If I am doing all highway driving with I went as low as 10.5L/100km in the C63

300 - 350 kms sounds about right. Actually, 350 kms would be on the high side for me - keep in mind I do pretty much 95% city driving as I'm in the city core. I know you guys in TO do a fair bit of highway mileage.
And yes, I'm a bit of a leadfoot.

Been there with the S2000 once. 16 years of driving and only that one time so not bad. Well... not including the race track

in most of the time, one tank would only last 200~220 miles before the warning signal lights up for me,
the best I can push on one tank of gas is 280 miles, most of which came from the high speed trip from Vegas back to LA

I'm averaging around 250 miles/tank. If it's strictly highway driving, I can average 20+ mpg. I got pretty close to 300 off of a tank when I drove it back from Vivid to NorCal.

I think it's pretty normal to get 350kms a tank on the pre-face lifted C63s.
I get an avg of 430km a tank on my 2012 (MCT)... The most I've gotten was 498... Then I rushed to the gas station because I didn't want ot push it any further in case I got stranded on the side of the road.

I get about 250-300km per tank. Mostly city driving and going up quite a few hills. It is so easy to ruin good a good consumption run though. I could be sitting at 15.x then stop in traffic for a few minutes or do one WOT pull and BAM instantly up to 19.

I do A LOT of highway driving and I even got to experiment with mileage on the 12 hour drive from Phoenix to NorCal. I've found that the AMG is most fuel efficient above 75 mph. Probably 80-85 mph is really the sweet spot for speed and mpgs. Although 90 mph is a stunningly smooth and quiet ride.
In my experience, putting around at 65-70 in traffic will yield me around 16-17 mpgs. If I can average 80-85, I can actually be above 20 mpgs.
For the record, on my recently retired car, I logged 32k miles in 2011, 37k miles in 2010, and 25k miles in 2009.
