09 C63 AMG, 03 C320 Sport Coupe 96 Mustang
What is this plastic piece?
Can anyone tell me what this is and why it's there? It's on the pass. side behing the front wheel, just in from the jacking point. I've noticed it scrape a few times on speed bumps and even on the road once or twice. What the heck is it, is it mounted right and does it need to be there at all?

That's been happening to me for months now and I haven't really had a chance to get someone to take care of it. I think it's nothing serious, but to be on the safe side I suggest you get someone to look at it. I don't really care because I will be trading my car in in 2 months.

2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman ALL4 - British Racing Green
Its part of the 3 skid plates on the bottom of the car. they are about 100 to 200 each last I checked. I need one too after an unfortunate meeting with a drawer that was dropped onto a highway, and me being pinned between two cars on either side of me on the highway. shredded one of my skid plates, but at least that is minimal damage compared to what could have happened.
