My new wheels: Volk TE37 Tokyo Time Attacks!
Just received my new wheels/tires package a couple days ago. I took photos of one of the rears after unwrapping it. Then I had them mounted and more photos taken. There are always so many questions about wheels and tire sizes, do they fit, etc. That is why I wanted to document with photos so you can see for yourself.
Specs:
Volk Racing TE37 Tokyo Time Attacks
19x8.5 ET45 fronts
19x9.5 ET50 rears
Hubcentric
Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 245 fronts, 275 rears. No rubbing at all.
My car is a stock C63C, no suspension mods.
Conical seat black lugs.
Wheels weigh in at 19.xx lbs. each. These wheels are over 6 lbs. lighter than the stock 18's, twin spoke.
OEM TPMS

Great looking wheels. Post pics of them mounted! How much does a set like urs cost? If it's not too personal.
Edit: looks perfect on ur car. Do u think u will rub if lowered?

first impressions
These wheels/tires ride just as comfortably as the stock setup. I saved 4 lbs. per corner vs. the stock 18's and smaller rubber.
I know not everyone is a fan of Japanese tires on our cars, but there is no denying the strength, quality and light weight features of these wheels. They are race proven, and in my opinion, a great looking wheel for our cars. The finish is top notch as well.
These wheels are new to the market.
I would really love to hear what you all have to say about them!
Also, there are some stickers that can be applied as well....what do you think, leave them off? (see attached photo)

I don't think so, but not sure. Others have done it without rubbing, but my photos will hopefully help because you see what I see. And as it has been said before, tire choice, as well as offset will make a difference.

I know some on here feel it's sacrilege to put JDM wheels on a German vehicle, but Rays wheels are one of my all time favorites regardless of make of vehicle they're on. Looks great and enjoy in good health!

I know there have been different versions of the TE37's. You probably know more about the different iterations than I do. I'll attach a PDF flyer....maybe it's just a European fitment or something like that.

It's a fact that Volk TE37 looks great on any car!
Volk Time Attack series are black wheels with a red strip on the lip, had a production run in the mid 2000's.
The newly released Volk Tokyo Time Attack is what Strafe1 has, and was recently released at this year's Tokyo Auto Salon.

I don't have any qualms about JDM wheels on German cars. What's more important is the style of the wheels matching the car. This particular ones on the c63 coupe does not yet mesh. At least not on your current setup. Maybe when you lower it and put some type of aero package it will come together.

I see what you mean, that it would look better with more visible racing mods. I like the look as is, but will definitely consider a drop. Thanks for the input!

I've always liked those wheels. For performance they should be Great As far as aesthetics goes I think some people on here have shown that 20's look best on c63's. See your out here in Colorado. I'm also out here currently, southern rado actually.
