PSS on 19 OEM wheels
I know this has been mentioned before but I couldn't find a thread about 19 inch wheels.
I want to take my Conti Sport 3's off and replace them with Michelin PSS.
I'm running stock wheels at the moment with 235/35/19 and 255/30/19
What do you think would be the best size to go for?
I'm thinking 255/35/19 or 245/35/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for the rears.
Would this work?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply! I have just been reading some old posts from last year and saw you switched from Hankooks to PSS and it seems you really give the PSS a great review.
Do you think 275-35-19 would work? I would ideally like a larger sidewall to improve the ride quality. The roads where I live aren't great.

Ya, made the switch and have no regrets. The PSS are truly fantastic tires.
The 275/30/19 will definitely work and you wont have any issue running them on OEM 19's.
The 275/35/19 wont work.

Thanks guys. I ordered Michelin PSS 275/30/19 and will have them installed tomorrow.
Will these fit OK without spacers?
I'll post pics tomorrow.

Hi Marketing Guy,
so you decided on 275/30/19 rears.... what size tires did you eventually order for your fronts?
245s or 255s?
can't wait to see pics and your reviews.
cheers.

im running the same size in the back, ull be amazed at how much more grip you get off the line on a sunny day .. no joke, i struggle to get the tires spinning with traction off (without using brakes) and u can feel them on corners too ! good choice .. i wanna push my wheels out a bit though, and that's what im not sure of, whether spacers is too much or not ??

Just had them installed. They look very beefy, fill the arches much nicer and ride so much smoother!
I haven't been able to test the grip yet as I want to run them in for 50 or so miles. I'll post some pics today.
Jmoley - I'm gonna go for 245/35/19 on the front. I'll change those once I've fully tested these new rears out!

They do look beefy on the oem 19x9.. But I bet the performance has improved better plus a lot more rim protection. Good job!!

Thanks! Gonna change the fronts over this weekend.
Seriously, why aren't 245/275 Michelin Super Sports on the car when it rolls out of the factory?!

And except for tire noise. I found them to be VERY loud after a bit of wear. A good friend had them on his R8 and they gripped well but were LOUD. Probably similar in grip to the PSS but louder and shorter life.
