Good Deal on a '08 C63?

Hey guys,

I've been test driving the C63 for a few weeks now and finally found one that I really like.

Its an '08 Certified with warranty good until 9/13 with 33k miles on the odo.

Dealer has offered it for a total of $45k out of the door.

Thats a selling price of $41,245 for the car plus all fees

Should I pull the trigger?

Its got new tires and new brakes in the rear.

P2 Package, Leather and Multimedia packages as well.

Very low mileage for an 08!

Personally, i'd never get a used car, especially an AMG, maybe consider leasing an 012? But if not, deff go for it, the owner must of not liked driving it

Not sure what new ones lease for. I didn't even think of that.

Any one shed some light on a lease?

I think it is a good deal if you are looking to buy and possibly for mod. Good luck.

Leasing a C63 with no options, with no money down & even with the best credit, will be upwards of $1100/month.

First - the "special" MB was running was $699/month for the C63. This was a COMPLETELY base car. 1 - good luck finding a 100% base C63 floating around. 2 - who wants it anyway? Also, this was for 7500 miles/yr. So for $700 a month you can drive a halogen-lit, manual passenger seat C63 7500 miles a yr. Awesome.

Second - not trying to call you out, but I would LOVE to see the details around that M3 lease for $400 a month for a brand new $75k car. Can you post the lease agreement with private info whited out? That is unheard of and if true, your buddy got the best deal on a car I've ever seen unless he can only drive it 5k a year or something crazy.

I think I'm gonna pass on it. Not entirely sold on it just yet and worried about reliability down the line once the warranty is up

Did you see the car fax on it?

Also consider regardless of the mileage, it is 4 years old and depending when it was actually purchased, maybe closer to 5.

Time can be tougher on a car than mileage. I bought an 09 that was sold at the end of 09. Personally 2-3 years old is about as far as I will go on a pre-owned purchase.

CPO/Warranty is a BIG Deal on these cars as well!

But it does sound like a fair deal.
