Picked up My New C63 Coupe w/ Amg Development Package

Picked up my 2012 C63 2 weeks ago, obsidian black, porcelain/black interior, amg development package, Command 6 disc package, Lighting Package, Lane Tracking, Carbon Fiber Trim, Twin Spoke Wheels, Keyless go, Review Monitor

Traded my corvette 08 Z06 620hp monster which I do miss but I am currently happy with the C63.

Only a few hundred miles so I haven't broken her in yet, still itching for the 1000 mile mark. The car sounds amazing especially in a tunnel or starting her up in a garage. It's not as loud as the corvette but definitely sounds good stock. I already had a few people admiring the car and asking questions about it. I definitely love the interior and the media center on this car, and those rear tailpipes bring the whole car together in the rear. I was holding out for the twin spoke wheels as I like these much better then the single spoke with the gray inserts (they were very hard to find with this optioned car).

A few things I am concerned with as others have complained, the car already has squeaks and rattles from the dash area and rear speaker, the suspension is really hard especially riding around in NYC. I know this is a first year model but I was hoping for a little better quality overall with fit and finish. This car eats up gas in sport+ like its going out of style, its extremely thrusty which was to be expected with an AMG car.

All and All I am very happy with this C63 and was definitely a better choice than the cadillac cts-v, M3 and audi.

Interior looks amazing!

Now you got me questioning my black leather choice (thinking about black/sand combo now)...

I've had the same issue and it has been driving me crazy. Although it seems to have quieted down over the last 3 months (or maybe I have just gotten used to it). My solution has been to turn up the radio and wish it away.

mine has the dash rattle. every speed bump or parking garage floor deck transition makes it rattle. i'm used to it and after some serious searching, i cant find anyone that has a real solution so i'm not going to complain to MB and risk them ruining the dash trying to find it

having said that... LOVE those seats. i'm looking forward to upgrading in a few years.. i just hope the 63 engine is still around

Interior looks better in person. I'm very tuned into squeaks and rattles so it does bother me and only will get worse over time, hopefully I can fix a few of them

Too many threads are being created for ppl to show their car. I thought that's what the official picture thread was for

Congratulations! The interior is beautiful and don't worry the little annoying rattles and squeaks will go as you drive it.

Beautiful...good luck with that baby..I ordred mine (2013) a few weeks ago. Expecting delivery in August. I ordred (my wife insisted) the blind spot indicator option. Is it accurate? I cannot imagine switching lanes without looking, but if i can do it safely, it would be great. If I have to look, what's the point of the option? anybody? thanks in advance.

Thats just for cataloging purposes lol.. We like these threads because every C63 deserves its 15 mins of fame and we all get to respond to each one individually

Grats on the car! love the two tone seats. We need more pics!
