Thumbs up Just how good is the PSS?

Apparently pretty much incredible. The following was a facebook post from a friend of mine. He owns Forged Performance in Georgia, builds and tunes GTR's (primarily) all over the globe and spends nearly every weekend tracking either his 996 GT3 or 2009 GTR, both full on race cars. He was at Road Atlanta with his new toy this weekend, I was surprised that he was even on the PSS tires as he typically runs R6's or 888's. This lap time on street tires is just amazing! Some may remember Keith posted several videos from our trip there last summer. He was on R6's, passing everyone in the run group, and lap times were about 10 seconds slower than this. Comparison reviews may be helpful but this type of real world feedback is more valuable to me.

Sharif:
‎1:33.8 at Road Atlanta in my near stock 2013 GT-R. Just Michelin PSS STREET tires and brake pads.

In my experience i must say they are amazing tires. Grip is awesome even on the track. I now use them as my everyday tiers and never been happier.

Going to purchase a set this week.

What's the ideal setup for street use? 235's in the front, 265's in the rear? I know several people put the 275's in the rear with no issues.

America's Discount Tire is running a special this week...you get a $70 Visa gift card with purchase of any Michelins.

Thanks man

Too bad the closest one to SF is in Redwood City. I might make the trek regardless.

Well, it's not like you'll burn THAT much gas getting there

There's one two blocks from where I live in Walnut Creek...right across the street from the dealership, so I guess I'm lucky then. Too bad I don't need tires just yet.

I have PSS and so far so good. Can't comment too much since I only have them on the rears, but they do hook up nicely compared to my old Conti DW's.. Probably near or on par with my PS2's. Note that I don't drive too crazy anymore.

How are they in the rain? Any input from users?

Down here in FL wet driving is a concern...
