black series VS. 997 gt3 rs 2nd gen
hello everyone ! kinda caught between these too ....
i could get a brand new black series or buy a gt3 rs 2nd hand.... with about 20,000km for about the same price as a black series with the magno package....... of course i would have to wait for a later build date for the 63 ...... so im kinda throwing up the idea of buyin a gt3
any help would be greatfull n making the right choice
i know that there will only be 30 black series hitting the canadian market
but the RS is just that much sweet looking
both cars wont be tracked
just wanna buy sumthing for weekends and not lose big money.... and knowing porsche always re introduces new product yearly...... i have this love for the black series... that coming from a c63 sedan owner last year

Even though I never owne both cars, lol, I've always love the gt3 rs. If you want a new car that you can break in I would say the bs, but if you don't mind a used car get the gt3. I'm sure you will enjoy both though. Good luck

You're out of luck if you want a new BS in Canada, they are all long spoken for.
You'll probably lose a ton of cash on the BS too if you manage to get one new, might want to hold out for a while and see what becomes available on the used market.

A snail...
2 different animals. The BS you can really drive daily. The RS, if you're not tracking it, you'll get tired of it after 2-3 hours, stiff ride, lots of mechanical noise, marginal comfortable seats... BS - more comfy, all the bells and whistles, quiet cabin ~ can hold a convo inside.
Pros and cons to each - I love them both.

Keep the standard C63 as a DD and wait for the 991 GT3 to debut. The new GT3 should be an animal, considering the 991 Carrera S already laps the Nurburgring in 7:40 compared to the C63 BS's time of 7:46.

The BS will be more exclusive but the P car will be faster on the track. Get the BS if it's your only car. For a 2nd car, get the Porsche.

C32, 911 Carrera S(991), C63BS
If you like the musical symphony of engines at work, go for the BS. Even with sport exhaust, the 6's in the Porsches never did it for me. On "C" setting, the BS is more comfortable for passenger(s) than the harsher riding Porsche. AT "S" or "S+", they feel the same to my back.

Thanks 510 vs 450.... The v8 must sound that much better .... I don't mind the harsh ride......took a slr for a ride a couple of times and loved it ... Made me feel alive lol

MBWorld Fanatic!
The only Porsche soundtrack that comes close would be the GT3 RS 4.0. I'd rank that exhaust note (especially run up to redline) as a different beast, but equal to the BS in aural entertainment.
Anything else Porsche, especially the turbos, suck for exhaust note. I can't stand how my 911TT sounds at full throttle.
french, if you're looking for a car that makes you feel alive, both the GT3 and the C63 BS will do the trick. Option the C63 BS without the R compound Dunlops and it'll wake you up even more. If you need interior civility for longer trips here and there, the C63 BS is the one to go for. If you plan on spending a significant amount of time at the track, the GT3 will be more rewarding.
I'll be doing a full comparo review of the C63 BS and a 997 GT3 in the next month or 2 once the weather warms up a bit.
