Which rims for summer?
hey guys, need help picking rims...i narrowed the choices down to two. The titanium BBS or black HRE. My car is cavansite, so i would like some feedback on which would look better.
Here are the links for the rims
HRE

I was in the same dilemma a month ago when I was shopping for a new set of wheels. They are both nice & strong wheels, the reason I picked the HRE over the BBS is becuz the BBS rear fitment is too aggressive for our car. 19x9.5 +45mm will rub if you plan to drop the car. HRE are more money, but you have more choice on the offset.

I think it will look great if you're a fan of black wheels. If you dont want it too dark, you can do gunmetal or brushed with tinted clear like mine.
If you have facebook, you should search for HRE & like their page... you will be able to view tons of car pics with HRE.

my wife bananas! :D
I'm a huge fan of BBS... still have 2 sets of them in my house from previous cars I dont own anymore. But if you can spring for HRE, you definitely wont regret it.

HRE is 18" and all black
BBS is 19" and has a polished lip
I think I would go for BBS cos it is 1 size bigger, the polished lip is not very obvious on titanium but is very good with an all black wheel: it the essential highlight on the otherwise dull black wheel.
the offset of the BBS looks fine to me with stock shocks.

The R40 Series is only available up to 18" fitments. We of course offer custom width/offset configurations. In comparison, I believe our wheels will be lighter than the CH-R. The website link is showing 19x9.5 CH-R at 26.1 lbs. I have weighed a 19x10 wheel for an Mercedes E55 at 22 lbs.
If you would like 19" or 20" option, feel free to check out our P40SC Conical Series. Of course because the high offset configuration of the C63, you would probably end up with a medium conical profile for the rear.
Here's couple images of the P40SC Series, CLICK HERE for more info
Below is a sample of a High conical profile front with a Medium conical profile rear on the below E55 Mercedes, which will be similar to what you would expect for the C63.

Great selection of wheels!
The HREs are 1 piece forged whereas the BBS are a cast wheel with flow formed rim. We already exchanged a few PMs, let us know what your desired style and budget is and we'll be able to pick out a few potential sets for you!
