2009 C63 AMG
New to the AMG World
Well I only had the pleasure of owning a beautiful 135i for a short period of 3 months. I must say i have loved every second of it. I came across a deal a few weeks ago that i could not refuse. I never had the intention to sell my 1 series in this short period of time. I planned on at least keeping it for 3-4 years before upgrading but the cards were played right on my table that i just couldn't say no to it. Let me cut to the chase.
I had the privilege of going to test drive a nice 2009 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG this past week. Needless to say i fell in love as soon as i hit that throttle and the pure roar came out of the AMG exhaust. Never in years i would have imagined to drive such a great car, so the dealer wanted to negotiate. I sure as hell wasn't ready to move up and buy a new vehicle since i just recently purchased my 1 series. A few days went buy and stopped by the same dealer to tell them, it is completely out of my budget at this moment in time. Before i walked out, they stopped me, and the sales person immediately called his GM and talked to him on the phone. The GM requested to speak with me personally and within seconds he made an offer that had me in stand still position. HE offered my full pay-off amount. Well i rolled over some negative equity from the previous vehicle i owned and when he offered to pay it off in full i was speechless. Well i went back home thought about it, did more number and came back. Yesterday we sat down and negotiated a bit more, and his final offer for my vehicle was $40K....Unheard of for a 2008 BMW 135 with 54K miles on it....Its a offer that had me sitting there and thinking, i had to go ahead and proceed. This GM is digging me out my negative equity and putting me in a positive state.
Well after it was all set and done. I proceeded with signing the papers, and went home with this beauty:
The original asking price was 55K, they let it go for 45K because it sat on the lot for over 5 months and they were about to auction it off..
It is a 2009 C63 AMG with only 17K miles. Practically brand new.
It drives like a champ, sounds great, feels great, and handles pretty damn well for a 4 door sedan. I hate to say this, but it def is a M-Killer..This coming from a huge BMW fanatic.
Being that this deal was too sweet to let go, i wasn't even mad to let go of the 1er, knowing, i will be in a power house a few minutes later.
I am looking forward to learning more about the AMG community and expanding my knowledge of my newly purchased C63.

Welcome to the club of big motors!! No turbos required here...that is my favorite color...i used to have one, enjoy, the miles are very low on that car, remember to always drive with your windows down! And if you cant, windows closed, put down your rear seats, you will howl at the sounds this car makes.

I'm located in Central Virginia
Thank you guys for the warm welcome..and believe me, i roll the windows down as much as i can to enjoy the awesome sound of this beast. It is a very fun car to drive. I do however miss the manual transmission, but the paddle shifters are pretty nice..

I like the darkside quite well LOL... But the GM was probably the best i have ever dealt at a dealership. Even now when i go to the service he still checks up on me and makes sure everything is peaches with the car.

AMEN!
It's funny.... my story is very similar to COEHSP85's .. except I traded in a 335i M Sport Pkg Sedan..
Not missing it one bit!.. except perhaps the M steering wheel and the navigation.. but that's it!
