C63 Bs Coupé : How to kill a tank of gas in 45min>>

2 early sessions, 45min of track time, 1 full tank of gas. Good times>>>
Second track day in the new car. Not too much new to report, just that the tires are wearing very well. Quite amazing actually. No sidewall wear and the tread is wearing dead even. After 5500 Klm on the road with 2 track days the rears are at 35% and the fronts still at least 55% left.
The transmission is still "Balking" at downshift commands particularly from 4th to 3rd and 3rd to 2nd at moderate to high rev. (>>4,500 rpm) . No matter what mode either. S, S+ or M. all the same. It won't downshift in Auto or with Manual attempts. ESP on, in Sport or OFF.(its not that it won't downshift, More that its not consistent. Sometimes yes, sometimes no) It will kick down eventually after a few hits but not when needed. Frustrating and a little unnerving at speed. I hope they have a fix in store.

I got 35L/100km at the track a few days ago lol.
Different tranny, but mine doesn't downshift either in higher RPMs on this one turn, it makes me rageeee. I have to wait till I'm in the turn for it to finally shift down.
Its like there is a limit how close you can be to redline to downshift... Pretty annoying, it should let u downshift right to redline.

Hey Barry. I'm late replying to this thread. It was great to see you and your new beast.
Nice videos. It' too bad we were never out there together at the same time with a clear track. I would have loved to try to keep you in my sights, although I'm pretty sure it would have been a futile effort. It was already hard enough trying to keep up with you in your previous tuned C63 sedan.......I think I need better equipment....
Anyways, there was this blue 997 Turbo S on track with us last week who was pretty damn fast. What was your relative pace compared to him?
Looking forward to seeing you again this year.
