305 Mickey Thompson DR

Has anyone tried fitting a 305/35/18 onto a C63?

Wont work unless you have a wide body kit.

Six months ago, one idiot recommended M/T drag radials 265/40/18 for rears and i remember him saying it fits on 18x9.5 wheels.

Well guess what, it damaged my CF fender flares and I had to use 8.5 on rears so it fits correctly.

So definitely won't think that 305/35/18 would fit !

Why?

I run 265/40/18 MT on stock rims with zero issues and my car is lowered.
the 265 and 305 have identical heights. Just wondering about touching inside and out? There is a gap between top of tyre and wheel arch not sure about inside though.

My mistake, what i used was MT ET Street Radial not the drag edition.

Click the image to open in full size.

It clearly says on MT website that this is the correct size of the wheel.

My bad i used to trust that douchebag and bought the tyres without checking the website. Now i've got 2 forgestar F14 18x9.5 without the correct tyres
I'll snap some photos of how the tyre and the fender flare got damaged once i get to the garage. It touched inside and out !

Are you rears 9.5 or 10.5 ?

Your answer will decide the matter.

Why do you want to try a wider heavier tire Are you having traction issues

Big time. Especially our coastal tracks that are airstrips with zero traction.
