Help me chose c63 vs e55 from a STI guy
Hi im Jessi from quebec and i always wanted a e55 i test drove one last week and i found it a little too luxury style driving does the c63 i more like my 2006 sti or its classy and no so sportly . I sold the sti because its was too modded for the poor street of quebec we got winter here so how is the suspension on this car and what i have to mod to get in the 11 sec i know i wanna have mhp header and agency valve controled exhaust is that enought whit a good tune to make 11 sec car thanks in advance

I'm an Evo guy and got the c63. The e was too big and "old man" for me.
I would imagine the sti is spectacular in the snow. I know the Evo is the best snow car I've ever driven. That being said I don't plan on ever driving the c63 in the snow. I would imagine that would be difficult.

I'm a honda guy...well I'm a mercedes guy but I always had a soft spot for Hondas and owned a couple of DC chassis Acuras....and yeah I would never get an E for a sporty car (maybe for when I'm older and want something fast and comfy)
The C63 for me is luxurious enough but it still feels more of a sports car than luxury car. just a tune I believe would get it into the 11s and with headers you would easily get low 11s (not exactly sure for the numbers but look around)
the suspension for me can be quite rough but its not too bad. if the road is bumpy it could get annoying though. I'd also get a second awd car to deal with winters since this car sucks in the snow. (others have reported decent results on snow tires)

I went from a 07 STi to a E55, it really depends on what you want. I needed a comfy daily. The E55 is a fun car that is packed with luxury options. But its not as fun as the C63, E55 will tear the road apart on a straight but introduce it to a turn and its a different story. The C63 is a little monster but handles really well, and with the right mods it can be just as quick as a modded E55.

I moved from Evo to E55 and now C63. I far prefer the C63 to the E55. The main factors:
C63 sounds better
C63 handles much better
C63 has great front seats
C63 looks "younger"
My E55 ownership experience was spoiled by poor reliability (gas smell, oil leaks, IC pump, interior electrical gremlins)

The E55 is a highway cruiser. Fast and comfortable. However due to it inherent weight it does not handle as well as a C63. You should also consider ownership costs as the E55 suspension is prone to failures which usually happen out of warranty and are very expensive to fix. Of course the forced induction motor has substancial power gain mod potential. The C63 is more of a drivers car. No turbo's and related components to worry about. The suspension is easily modified. The front seats are fantastic and the sound is intoxicating. Get a 2011 C63 or later with P31 option.

C63 definitely.
But test drive both... make sure however, you really test drive them to feel the difference
and how long will you be keeping this car? cause the e55 is already one generation old. if you are thinking of keeping it for multiple years, you are looking at a 2 generation old car.
