Did you know there's a vent in your glove box?
Found this thread on the topic, but I just stumbled upon it the other day. I imagine it's for small food items or making sure your iPod doesn't fry or something, but I can't think of any other practical reason why it would be there.

I wouldn't ever close that vent, unless you like your iPod well done or extra crispy. Especially if you live in a warm area.
