Paint protection film question

Does the Magno Night Black color require a special film for clear bra protection?

No. Any good film out there will look good on any color. VentureShield Ultra, Avery Nano Fusion, and the new Suntek films are the best in my opinion... and what I install.

Uhh Magno Night Black is a matte color. Slap on "any film" and it'll turn it shiny.

You'll need matte protection film. There's only a few companies that make it.

I'm sorry about that. I didn't catch that. There are a few companies out there that make satin/matte films. Two that I carry are Prestige Satin Guard and Xpel Stealth. Both are good films and should match up fairly well... although I do recommend having a small piece applied first to see just how well it matches.

Thanks for the update. Since the color has such different properties in different light, would you do the test piece along a fender edge or an area that "glows" the most?

Any N. Cal installers reading this who have experience with this color?

Xpel Stealth works well with Magno Night Black. The shop that did my wrap was also doing an Edition 1, and I have it on my car as well.

Don't leave any seam lines, so for the hood, don't do a half hood, do the full hood. Wrapped and unwrapped looks slightly different. Not very noticable panel to panel, but definately noticable if you do 1/2 hood, 1/2 fenders, etc.

N. Cal? Go here:

http://www.premiermobilegroup.com/

They were the first to Matte Wrap cars. They sell their Premier Stealth films (which I was told is rebranded Venture/3M Matte film) just for this purpose.

I'm going to get a CLS63 done by them whenever I get off my *** and fly down to my bay area office.

Thanks for the post. I see you live in Montana at least part time. I lived on Flathead lake years ago. Idyllic in season!

Nice, that's a beautiful area! I love how laid back Montana is. You can get away with absolutely anything as long as you don't bother others. I spend time there when I want to just drive.
