Why Are Used Prices So Similar To New?
So I've been looking at '10 C63s and usually the low mileage, high-optioned ones are going from $50-55k while I see people getting brand new refreshed but leftover '12 models for $65k. Is the C63 not depreciating at the same rate as older AMG models?

They r depreciating as much as other AMG models.. That's why brand new 2012 are losing their value already cuz the 2013 are just around the corner.
P.S I believe MSRP on a new 2012 is around 62k$
for a base model.

keep your eyes peeled, there are definitely deals to be had. i got a 2011 w/ msrp of $72k @ 4000 miles for 55k in march. i just watched ebay pretty religiously for low mileage newish vehicles for a few months and sure enough there it was. if you want it right now, obviously be prepared to pay more. however.. there is always another car/boat/watch etc to be had. patience pays

Yes, just be patient because there is always another one coming up if you keep an eye out for it. However, I agree and did notice C63 price somehow seems to stay up there. You are not alone because others have noticed it, too. No one knows the reason why but it could also be due to: lower price, less depreciation. But that still doesn't seem to account for everything.
It's also for that reason that I end up getting an E63. Initially, my pool of choices are C63 or M3.
