Running a little low on fuel
I guess the giant car with the gas pump icon isn't just to look funny.
The AMG gods were looking out for me though...managed to roll up to the pump as the engine died.

WOW...I thought I was bad. The most I ever put into my car was 17.3. Glad to know there is at least .3 of a gallon more to go (which is about 1 block further). lolz

Everything is more expensive in Canada.. I was shocked that a 12 pack of beer was $24, US is like $10 ..

Same in California. Tesoro a Chevron are a stones throw away and the cheapest regular gas I can find around is $4.25. I've seen it in SF for almost $5.
I like how the mpg gauge tells you how much is left, but when you're really in trouble, it gives you that icon that you cannot change. Like, "Hey, moron, you're about to run out of gas, but this icon is more important than knowing how many miles you have left so you're just going to have to guess."

BMW said "0 miles remaining". At least you knew you were actually into the reserve at that point.

East Coast tends to be cheaper for gas.. except NY.. they like to bend you over a barrel and use a baseball bat covered in broken glass to gently screw you up the *** :P (or so I have heard, DC is similar, most people if they can get gas outside in the burbs).
I am paying around $3.79 a gallon at the mobil around the corner from my house (yet the shell across the street is consistently 20c more per gallon.. how they stay in business I have no idea).
On Monday, I put 17.2 gallons in my car.. drove from Springfield VA to Bowie, MD on reserve basically (VA prices are much higher and I was not paying attention.. gas light came on once I was on the beltway, pain in the *** to get off and get gas).
side note, most cars these days have the fuel pump inside the gas tank, using the gas to help cool the pump.. you are not supposed to drain the tank to the point where it is empty as you could ruin the pump.
