SLS style shifter

Came across this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/120911144...ht_2965wt_1165
says it will fit a W204 in the listing but I doubt it would look right.

doesnt look like it will work.

on another note why is mb putting these electronic shifter things in all their new AMG cars? I hate it...feels so flimsy and havng to press the P button instead of just putting it into park is annoying

It appears to just be a shift ****. Should work, probably wouldn't look good.

+1

I agree with you. I love the one on my bro's 2009 SL63 more than the one my SLS. And there is no way to put the gear on "N" when the car is not on. So say you want to move it when it's not working.....it will be difficult.

BTW, I bought it from another seller but it looked identical. It took me 15 mins to install it.

I have this shift **** but the CF one. It goes well with my CF wrap interior. It'll look even once I get the real CF trims.

By the way ... it worth every CENT. Feels great, the carbon top is lighter than my interior though.

but I'm happy.

looks good to me! I do like that the **** is lower in height, so you can rest your elbow on the armrest and the shift **** without raising your arm too high up.
