Modded 2010 Harley Edition F-450 and a '13 S5
I cant wait to hear it. They used a new SC that is supposed to be quite a bit quieter then the previous model. All that whining over the V8 rumble kept me away from the 500.

This would drive be nuts
The only car that would be more annoying would be a Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst.

"Boost only" means the car does not have any other power adders such as nitrous.
This car more than likely already has an upper/lower pulley, full supporting mods, and E85/Race tune. Evolution Performance did the same thing when the 5.0s came out. Within a week they already had their shop car in the 10's haha.
The new GT500 is just flat out the best performance deal available right now. I want one!

This is the first message board I've heard people NOT like blower whine. I had a lightning and two cobras that all came with superchargers. The second cobra had one of the loudass older kb's on it and i absolutely LOVE that noise. There's nothing cooler than hearing nothing but blower whine come at you and then as the car blows by all you hear is the exhaust.
That partly what made me want an e55. Do the e55's not have much blower whine inside/outside of the car?

Roots style are nice, different pitch. But all being equal I'd rather hear a set of turbos screaming away.

Race Tune/CAI/lower pulley/exhaust(however far that goes)and slicks and skinnies.
The exhaust is what I want to know... otherwise a pretty short list to get that amazing slip. Still wont know 100% until they put the video out and list the mods.
Cant wait to see the video.. these cars launch so violently.

Just finished watching a video on the run up to 200mph. Didnt quite make it but doing 196mph at 2000' in the desert heat is nothing to be ashamed of. The engine now sounds the way it should. All V8 rumble with a hint of SC whine. What a car. Now, how to swing it with a C63 on order. LOL Maybe a 2014 MY

I might want one of these in a couple years when the platform switches over to IRS. Ford will probably use the same engine because this is basically a new engine (many new and improved parts). And I know, Ford has done an amazing job with the solir rear axle, but I'm not in the market for a new car now anyway, so it doesn't matter to me.
And for the record, I love the blower whine.
